Suture Anchors
Suture Anchors are specialized orthopedic implants used to reattach soft tissues—such as tendons, ligaments, and labrum—to bone with strong, reliable fixation. Commonly used in shoulder, knee, hip, ankle, and elbow surgeries, these devices are essential in procedures like rotator cuff repair, Bankart repair, SLAP lesions, and ligament reconstructions.
Suture anchors are available in various materials, including titanium, PEEK, and bio-absorbable polymers, offering surgeons flexibility based on tissue type and healing requirements.
Each anchor is designed with preloaded high-strength sutures that allow secure tissue stitching, while the anchor’s thread or barbed design ensures firm grip within the bone. Bio-absorbable anchors gradually resorb over time, supporting natural tissue healing and eliminating the need for removal, whereas metal or PEEK anchors provide long-term durability and stability.
